A cloud of MeSH headings is derived from frequency of headings’ occurence in the database or in the set of retrieved records.
The size of characters of the headings depends on frequency of use of a particular heading in the set of indexed records.
By clicking on any of these headings you get records that contain the selected MeSH heading.
If you already have some records, by clicking on a heading you limit/specify your query to the records that contain the selected heading.
